Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Diamonds Cosmetology College

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Diamonds Cosmetology College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Texas students paid $8,000 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 88 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 25 students received grants or scholarships totaling $107,287 and 24 students took out student loans totaling more than $167,220.

Including all undergraduates (57), 48 students used grants or scholarships totaling $222,636, and 46 students took out $367,262 in federal student loans.
