Fletcher Ace Hardware will be hosting its grand opening celebration this weekend.

America’s most celebrated “helpful place” is having a grand opening sale in Pottsboro from Friday to Sunday. Located at 512 West FM 120, Fletcher Ace Hardware brings the company’s unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service -- paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products -- to Pottsboro residents.

Customers can stop by for the chance to win a variety of prizes or take advantage of sales throughout the store. They can enter a drawing for a chance to win an Ego Power Plus Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer valued at $249, a Paint-a-Room Makeover valued at $125, A Weber Spirit II E -210 gas grill valued at $499, or a Milwaukee Drill and Driver Set valued at $399.

Exclusive offers that will be honored in-store include: 50% off an item under $30 on Friday and a free 5-gallon bucket to the first 200 customers, plus 20% off everything that fits into the bucket on Saturday.

Fletcher Ace Hardware's standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 9 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The Pottsboro Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 3 for Fletcher Ace Hardware, according to Ace's website. The event took place in the evening and refreshments were offered to those in attendance.
