There were 560 students enrolled in Collinsville ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 3.9% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 56.4% of them were boys, and 43.6% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 74.8% of the Collinsville ISD total enrollment.

Collinsville ISD roughly covers schools within Grayson County with its main office in Collinsville.

Among the two schools in Collinsville ISD, Collinsville Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 314 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
