There were 2,048 students enrolled in Van Alstyne ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 9.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.3% of them were boys, and 49.7% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 72.3% of the Van Alstyne ISD total enrollment.

Van Alstyne ISD roughly covers schools within Grayson County with its main office in Van Alstyne.

Among the four schools in Van Alstyne ISD, Van Alstyne High School recorded the highest enrollment of 569 students in the 2021-22 school year.
