How many multiracial students were enrolled in Era ISD schools in 2022-23 school year?

There were 22 multiracial students enrolled in Era ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 22.2% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Era ISD schools welcomed 542 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 4.1% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Era ISD roughly covers schools within Cooke County and has a main office in Era.

Era School was the only school in the district which enrolled multiracial students, welcoming 22 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
