Rep. Pat Fallon, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 4th district, has recently expressed his views on immigration enforcement and policy through a series of tweets. Fallon, who succeeded John Ratcliffe in 2021, has been vocal about his stance on immigration since taking office.
On March 16, 2025, Fallon tweeted about the actions taken by ICE under former President Trump's administration. He highlighted that "Trump’s ICE is back in action." He provided statistics stating that in the first 50 days, ICE arrested 32,809 individuals categorized as "illegals," including 14,111 convicted criminals and others with pending charges or immigration violations. Fallon compared these figures to what he described as the "lackluster efforts" of President Biden's administration.
The following day, March 17, Fallon criticized the lottery-based immigration system through another tweet. He argued that "A lottery immigration system is fair to no one." According to him, this system is unfair both to American citizens and those seeking legal entry into the United States.
Later on March 17, Fallon reiterated his support for strict immigration enforcement by praising ICE's commitment under Trump's leadership. He stated that "President Trump’s ICE is committed to upholding the law and ensuring public safety." He warned that if state or local governments do not cooperate with federal immigration enforcement efforts, ICE would intervene to maintain law and order.
