Rep. Pat Fallon, Texas’ 4th District Representative in the U.S. Congress, frequently addresses key national security and economic issues via social media. His recent tweets provided insights into his stance on military preparedness and fiscal policy.

On April 9, in a tweet, Rep. Fallon highlighted the strategic military imbalance in the Indo-Pacific region, stating, "CCP forces currently hold a 4:1 advantage compared to US naval assets in the Indo-Pacific." He stressed the importance of investing in domestic shipyards, remarking that such investments are "CRITICAL to deterring China."

Continuing his focus on military policy on April 10, Fallon emphasized the need to bolster U.S. troop strength in the Indo-Pacific to counter China, which he labels as the greatest threat to national security. He tweeted, "Restoring our troop strength in the Indo-Pacific is key to countering and deterring China." He urged that the U.S. military posture must reflect this perceived threat.

Also, on April 10, Rep. Fallon expressed support for fiscal legislation, indicating he voted for the GOP budget plan that extends tax cuts initially introduced during the Trump administration. He stated in his tweet, "Proud to vote in favor of the GOP budget plan which extends Trump's tax cuts for Americans." Fallon argued that this move provides substantial relief following a period of record inflation.

Rep. Fallon has served in the U.S. Congress, representing Texas’ 4th District, since 2021 after succeeding John Ratcliffe. Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, in 1967, Fallon resides in Frisco and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame. He previously served in the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate.
