City of Gainesville issued the following announcement on April 27.
Please be advised that the road that leads from California St. to the entrance of the Transfer Station will be closed from 4/28/20 until 5/1/20 for paving. Please see attached map for the alternate entrance off of the Southbound service road of Interstate 35.
