Rep. Pat Fallon, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 4th district since 2021, has recently shared his views on various pressing issues through social media posts. Fallon, who succeeded John Ratcliffe and previously served in the Texas House of Representatives and Senate, addressed topics ranging from cybersecurity to immigration and international conflicts.
On November 21, 2024, Rep. Pat Fallon expressed concerns over the increasing number of cyber attacks and criticized bureaucratic inefficiencies that hinder innovative solutions to these threats. He emphasized the urgency of overcoming "red tape" for national security purposes. "The number & occurrence of cyber attacks has only grown in recent years... We can't afford to be held back by red tape when US national security is at risk."
Later that day, Fallon commented on the use of taxpayer dollars by certain cities to house undocumented immigrants. He argued that this practice contradicts the desires expressed by American voters during the recent election cycle and advocated for prioritizing citizens' safety. "It's absurd that blue cities are using taxpayer dollars to house illegals... It is time to put our citizens first and make America SAFE again."
In another post on November 21, 2024, Rep. Fallon criticized Hamas for allegedly using hospitals as shields for fighters and weapons in Gaza. He cited an incident where Israeli forces captured numerous Hamas operatives at a hospital and condemned what he perceives as the United Nations' downplaying of such actions by Hamas. "Hamas uses hospitals to hide fighters and weapons because they care nothing for the lives of Gazans... It's shameful that the UN has tried to downplay Hamas' depravity."
