City of Leonard issued the following announcement on May 5.
Dear Leonard residents, Mosquito spraying has begun and will continue through September 30. Spraying begins each Sunday at dusk, however, inclement weather can cause variations in spray dates. Spraying is done on a weekly pattern so as to interrupt the mosquito breeding patterns.
The spray routes vary according to wind direction and wind speed.The product used is 100% safe to all mammals.
The mosquito spray is called Essentria IC.
