City of Gainesville issued the following announcement on May 12.
Please be advised that the Solid Waste cart routes may be running slower than normal due to issues with one of our regular side load refuse trucks. The carts are being serviced with the older style truck manually with two workers on the back. Routes will be serviced on their usual day but perhaps later in the day. Thank you in advance for your patience.
