City of Gainesville issued the following announcement on May 18.
Please be advised that the Solid Waste Department is still experiencing issues with our refuse trucks which has affected both the cart routes and the brush/bulk pick up. If you had a brush pick up scheduled and it has not been picked up, please be aware that we will get it as soon as possible. We are utilizing the same trucks for the cart route and brush route and appreciate everyone’s patience while we work hard to get everyone taken care of. If you have any questions please call our Solid Waste Department at (940) 668-4551.
