City of Gunter issued the following announcement on June 2.
The Gunter Chamber Of Commerce is saddened to announce the cancellation of this year's Fireworks in the Park. Please understand that there were several factors involved, and this decision was not made lightly. Both the Chamber and the City of Gunter wish to continue the tradition of fabulous fireworks, great music and all the extras while still keeping our community safe and don't feel we would be able to properly do this given the current situation and guideline we are given at this time.
