City of Muenster issued the following announcement on June 1.
The following is the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of the Muenster City Council to be held at 6:30 pm in the City Hall meeting room on Monday June 1, 2020.
1. Call meeting to order at 6:30pm
2. Opening prayer
3. Approve minutes of the Regular Meeting held on May 4, 2020.
4. Recognize visitors and invite them to attend the entire Council meeting and to discuss their business.
5. Consider any other business, that is not on the agenda, to come before the Council.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. n/a
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Have a moment of silence for the memory of City Employee Hank Bayer.
2. Recognize four citizens who came to the aid of Muenster Police Officer Brackeen.
3. Review all proposals received from paving contractors for the 2020 Paving Project. Discuss the entire project and take any needed action.
4. Discuss and possibly approve providing funds for Chamber of Commerce billboards.
5. Discuss the recent water system problem and the “Boil Water Notice”.
6. Discuss the COVID 19 issue and how it effects the City, take any needed action.
7. Receive monthly update from the Fire Department.
8. Receive monthly update on City Police Department from Police Chief Barr.
9. Receive City Administrator’s Report: The City Administrator will update the Council on City Projects and Activities.
10. Review and act on monthly bills.

1. The Council may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed in this agenda.
2. The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this Agenda when it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.
