City of Denison issued the following announcement on June 17.
Thank you for your patience while we continue to work through the issue. In addition to our flushing efforts, we made treatment changes this morning to reduce the amount of iron in suspension that contributes to reddish brown colored water.
We anticipate seeing a significant improvement in the appearance within 24 to 48 hours. Our drinking water still remains in compliance with State regulations that are in place to ensure safe water for consumption.
