City of Denison issued the following announcement on July 15.
The City of Denison has approved an agreement with Charter Oak Production, Co. to conduct geophysical testing inside City Limits. The approval only gives the company access to public right of ways in specific areas of town. Many residents have received letters in the mail requesting additional access onto private property. It is up to each individual property owner to determine if they are comfortable with allowing Charter Oak Production, Co onto their private property.
The geophysical testing will consist of placing numerous sensors beginning July 18th, pending favorable weather conditions, that have allowed access. The project will utilize the vibratory method and a vibrator truck will be creating the energy to complete the test. The trucks will have flagmen and escorts at all time. There will be no drilling or digging.
