City of Denison issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
Duck Blind Site Permits for the 2020 – 2021 Waterfowl Hunting Season on Lake Randell will be available at the Randell Water Plant office, 4631 Randell Lake Road, Denison, beginning Tuesday August 18th at 7:30 a.m.. All permits will be issued in person, free of charge on a first come first serve basis to Denison residents only (Bring I.D. and proof of residency). No permits will be issued before 7:30 a.m. No permits will be issued after the fifteen (15) sites are filled.
NOTE: The road to the back side of the lake is closed. The only way to get to most of the sites will be by boat. No exceptions. The 10 h.p. limit on boat motors is strictly enforced. Violations carry up to a $500.00 fine. You must enter the lake property through the lake entrance on Lake Randell Road.
