City of Gainesville issued the following announcement on Sept. 1.
City offices will be closed Monday, September 7, 2020 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. City offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. The holiday will affect trash services.
Monday, September 7: CITY HOLIDAY. No Commercial, Residential carts or roll-off service. Commercial dumpster routes will run as scheduled.
Tuesday, September 8: Monday scheduled route.
Wednesday, September 9: Tuesday scheduled route. “No Special Pickup” or “Brush Pickup”.
Thursday, September 10: Route will run as scheduled.
Friday, September 11: Route will run as scheduled.
