LEONARD INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL: Free Breakfast and Lunch Meals Starts On September 21 - December 18

Mealschool

Leonard Intermediate School issued the following announcement on Sept. 21.

For a limited time, Leonard ISD will be able to offer Free Breakfast and Lunch meals to all children 18 years and younger. Free breakfast and lunch for all kids will start on Monday, September 21 and continue through December 18.

Breakfast and lunch will be available for curbside pickup between 10:00 and 10:45am on school days for remote students and community children at the drop off and pick up location at the back of the elementary school cafeteria on Hackberry Street. Free meals will also be provided for in-person learning students through their school's cafeteria. We still encourage submitting the free/reduced price meal applications for when we return to the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program in January.  However, for these next three months, all students will eat for free at LISD.  If you need additional information, please contact Sherry Cooper, LISD Food Services Director, at 903-587-4012 or email tigerdiner@leonardisd.net
