CITY OF MUENSTER: Agenda For The Regular Meeting On Monday October 5, 2020

City of Muenster issued the following announcement on Oct. 3.

The following is the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of the Muenster City Council to be held at 6:30 pm in the City Hall meeting room on Monday October 5, 2020.

1. Call meeting to order at 6:30pm

2. Opening prayer

3. Approve minutes of the Regular Meeting held on September 14, 2020.

4. Recognize visitors and invite them to attend the entire Council meeting and to discuss their business.

5. Consider any other business, that is not on the agenda, to come before the Council.

OLD BUSINESS:

1. n/a 

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Approve the purchase of a new police vehicle.

2. Discuss and take any needed action regarding the renewal of City’s Wastewater Permit.

3. Approve a “Memoranda Of Understanding For Disaster Relief” between the City of Muenster and the Muenster Independent School District.

4. Consider approving the placing of new streetlights on Eddy St. and W. Sixth Street.

5. Discuss and possibly approve repainting parking stripes on Main Street.

6. Receive monthly update from the Fire Department.

7. Receive monthly update on City Police Department from Police Chief Barr.

8.  Receive City Administrator’s Report: The City Administrator will update the Council on City Projects and Activities.

9. Review and act on monthly bills.

NOTES:

1. The Council may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed in this agenda.

2. The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this Agenda when it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meetings Act. 

3. People with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need assistance should contact Ammie Hennigan, at 940-759-2236 two working days prior to the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
