City of Gainesville issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.
Monday, 11/23, Tuesday 11/24 , and Friday 11/27 routes will run as scheduled.
Wednesday, 11/25 Thursday’s scheduled route. No special pickup or brush pickup.
Thursday, 11/ 26 CITY HOLIDAY(Thanksgiving). No commercial, residential carts or roll-off service. Commercial dumpster routes will run as scheduled.
The Transfer Station will be open on Friday 11/27 but will be closed on Saturday 11/28.
