City of Muenster issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
The following is the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of the Muenster City Council to be held at 6:30 pm in the City Hall meeting room on Monday December 7, 2020.
1. Call meeting to order at 6:30pm
2. Opening prayer
3. Approve minutes of the Regular Meeting held on November 2, 2020.
4. Recognize visitors and invite them to attend the entire Council meeting and to discuss their business.
5. Consider any other business, that is not on the agenda, to come before the Council.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. n/a
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Read and approve proclamation declaring December 6-12 “Muenster Museum Week”.
2. Approve purchase of Muenster Marks for employee’s Christmas.
3. Approve placement of streetlights at the intersection CR428, CR423, and Mesquite street, also consider installing new lights on various locations on Mesquite Street.
4. Receive monthly update from the Fire Department.
5. Receive monthly update on City Police Department from Police Chief Barr.
6. Receive City Administrator’s Report: The City Administrator will update the Council on City Projects and Activities.
7. Review and act on monthly bills.
8. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Council may enter into closed or executive session to discuss the following: Texas Local Government Code: 551.074-Personnel Matters, City Administrator position.
9. Return to regular session. Take any needed action.
10. Adjourn
NOTES:
1. The Council may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed in this agenda.
2. The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this Agenda when it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.
