Rep. Pat Fallon, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 4th district since 2021, has shared his views on national security and energy production through a series of tweets. Rep. Fallon, who succeeded John Ratcliffe in Congress, previously served in the Texas House of Representatives and Senate.
On November 20, 2024, Rep. Fallon criticized the Biden-Harris administration's handling of international relations and national security. He stated that "The past 4yrs of Biden-Harris failures on the world stage has emboldened our adversaries and weakened US national security." He emphasized that President Trump and the House GOP majority are focused on restoring U.S. deterrence and leadership.
Later that day, Rep. Fallon addressed domestic energy production's impact on national security by stating that "Domestic production of oil & natural gas at home is good for US national security." He argued that U.S. dominance in reliable energy supports allies while providing leverage over authoritarian regimes.
In another tweet posted on November 20, he criticized border policies under the current administration: "Thanks to the Biden-Harris Admin’s lax border security enforcement, violent gangs like Tren de Aragua are operating in 16 different states." Rep. Fallon asserted that these policies have allowed gangs to terrorize citizens and pledged to secure borders under President Trump's leadership.
