Later that day, Fallon commented on defense spending trends: "Under Biden, U.S. defense spending as a percentage of GDP hit historic lows—lower than before WWII. As global threats surge, we need a major shift. It’s time to restore our military strength, not let it falter." He advocates for increased investment in national defense to address growing international security challenges.

In another statement posted on February 11, 2025, Fallon elaborated on his vision for national security strategy: "To achieve Trump’s Peace through Strength agenda, we must restore defense spending above 4% of GDP. But this alone isn’t enough." He calls for reforms within the Department of Defense aimed at enhancing efficiency and innovation to better support military personnel and safeguard national interests.
