Rep. Pat Fallon, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 4th district since 2021, recently shared views on national security and media bias through a series of tweets. Fallon, who succeeded John Ratcliffe, served previously in the Texas House of Representatives and Texas Senate. He has continued to voice concerns on various topics via social media.
On March 28, 2025, Fallon commented on the increased number of foreign nationals crossing the U.S. border. According to Fallon, the United States has witnessed a significant rise in the number of Chinese and Russian nationals entering the country. "Under Biden, we saw a 537% percent increase in Chinese nationals crossing our border and a 2300% increase in Russian nationals." He expressed concern regarding national security by noting, "It only takes a fraction of them loyal to Beijing or Moscow to wreak potential havoc."
The following day, March 29, Fallon turned his attention to what he perceives as bias in public broadcasting. He argued against taxpayer funding of biased media, highlighting a perceived disparity in media outlets’ characterizations of political groups. "Taxpayers should not fund left-wing propaganda." Fallon cited figures claiming PBS used "far right" more frequently than "far left" and alleged that the Democratic National Committee received predominantly favorable coverage while the Republican National Committee was portrayed negatively. "These numbers prove the bias -- your money, their agenda."
Later on the same day, Fallon raised concerns about foreign terrorist organizations influencing student groups on American campuses. He emphasized the importance of cutting ties between these organizations and campus groups anti-American in nature. "We can't afford to allow foreign terrorist organizations like Hamas to maintain ties with anti-American, anti-Israel campus groups." Highlighting the potential risks to U.S. national security and student safety, Fallon urged action.
