Rep. Pat Fallon, who currently serves in the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 4th district, shared a series of tweets addressing his concerns over media balance and recent campus activities. Fallon has been in office since 2021 and has a background in both the Texas House of Representatives and Senate.

On March 29, 2025, Fallon highlighted a perceived disparity in media terminology usage. He noted that "Over a 6 month period, PBS used the term 'far right' 162 times and 'far left' 6 times." Fallon expressed concerns about fairness in media funded by taxpayers, emphasizing the need to represent the full spectrum of American perspectives.

The following day, on March 30, 2025, Fallon addressed security concerns in higher education, stating, "Evidence suggests pro-Hamas campus groups may have had advanced knowledge of the Oct 7 attacks which left more than 1200 innocent Israelis--including 46 Americans--dead." He condemned support by any groups for said violence, underscoring the gravity of the situation.

On March 31, 2025, Fallon reiterated his stance on university environments, tweeting, "American universities should be places of learning, not hotbeds for hate and violence." His statement called for accountability for individuals supporting terrorism, reinforcing his persistent call for safer academic spaces.
