Rep. Pat Fallon, representing Texas’ 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared his views on several national matters through a series of tweets. Fallon, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress since replacing John Ratcliffe in 2021, addresses issues related to U.S. military strategy, border security, and immigration policies.
On April 22, 2025, Rep. Fallon commented on the U.S. military presence in the Indo-Pacific region. He noted the increasing threat posed by China, stating that it "requires stronger U.S. forces in the Indo-Pacific." He highlighted that "current troop levels, half of past decades, cannot deter CCP aggression" and emphasized that "bolstering military presence is vital for our national security" (Original quotation).
Later that day, Fallon addressed immigration policies, particularly the handling of border security. He criticized the Democratic party, asserting they would rather "prioritize an MS-13 illegal alien" than recognize the successes of former President Trump's strategies, describing the party as "out-of-touch" with the preferences of "everyday Americans" (Original quotation).
Further addressing the topic of immigration, Fallon rebuked the Democratic party's stance on border security policies. He accused Democrats of having "embraced open border policies that have put Americans' safety at risk." In his critique, he contended that Democrats are focusing on "fighting to return violent illegal criminals to the US," challenging their approach with the question, "How much lower can they get?" (Original quotation).
Fallon, 55, was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and currently resides in Frisco. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
