Ector ISD schools Education: 5 multiracial students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were five multiracial students enrolled in Ector ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 44.4% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Ector ISD schools welcomed 230 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 2.2% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Ector ISD roughly covers schools within Fannin County and has a main office in Ector.

Among the two schools in Ector ISD schools, Ector High School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of four students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
