Rep. Pat Fallon, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 4th district, has shared a series of tweets expressing his views on issues related to immigration and border security. Fallon, who succeeded John Ratcliffe in 2021, has been vocal about his stance on sanctuary cities, the Biden administration's border policies, and drug cartels.

On March 7, 2025, Fallon criticized sanctuary city mayors for their approach to illegal immigration. He stated that "Criminal illegal aliens are more likely to commit crimes and there is no reason we should tolerate sanctuary city mayors who invite them in." He further argued that such actions endanger law-abiding citizens and suggested that these mayors should face consequences for their policies.

The following day, March 8, 2025, Fallon expressed relief over the change in presidential leadership. In reference to the previous administration’s policies on border enforcement, he commented that "For 4yrs, Texas was at odds with Biden, simply because we wanted to enforce the laws on the books when it comes to the border & keep our citizens safe." He welcomed former President Trump back into office as a positive development for his state.

On March 9, 2025, Fallon addressed the issue of drug cartels operating across the U.S.-Mexico border. He labeled them as terrorist organizations due to their impact on American lives through drug trafficking. He stated that "By all means, the Mexican drug cartels are and act as terrorist organizations. They should be treated as such." Highlighting the fentanyl crisis that claimed nearly 70,000 American lives last year alone, he called for decisive action against these cartels.
